Directions

From Eastern Long Island:

Southern State Parkway West (New York City) to Exit 19 South (Peninsula Blvd.-Lynbrook, Rockville Centre). Take Peninsula Blvd. (going south) approximately 2½ miles to Ocean Avenue and make a left.  (There will be a “WELCOME TO LYNBROOK” sign on the corner.) Take Ocean Avenue, past Merrick Road, to Sunrise Highway (Route 27) and make a right onto Sunrise Highway. Take Sunrise Highway approximately ½ mile to Atlantic Avenue and make a right. Go under train trestle and A la Carte (#32) will be on your right.  (White lace curtains in the windows.) Parking is free on the street after 6:00. Additional free parking is available in the rear – go past us to Merrick, turn right and then right again onto Forest. Large lot is in back of A la Carte; go through the walkway and we’re right there on the left.  

From Queens:

Take Cross Island Parkway South to Southern State Parkway East. Take first exit (Central Avenue-Valley Stream) south to Merrick Road. Turn left onto Merrick Rd. and go approximately 2 miles to Broadway (Bank on right and movie theatre on left). Turn right on Broadway and proceed one block to Stauderman Avenue and make a left. Go one block to Atlantic Avenue and make a left. A la Carte (#32) will be on your right (white lace curtains in the windows). There’s parking in the rear.

From Brooklyn:

Take the Belt Parkway East to Sunrise Highway exit. Continue East on Sunrise approximately 3 miles into Lynbrook, to Atlantic Avenue. Make a left onto Atlantic, go under train trestle andA la Carte(#32) will be on your right.  (White lace curtains in the windows). 

From The Bronx or Westchester:

Whitestone or Throgs Neck Bridge onto the Cross Island Parkway, South (then follow directions from Queens).

From the Long Island Rail Road:

Take the Long Beach or Babylon line to the Lynbrook station.  Walk east, parallel with the railroad tracks, along Stauderman Avenue.  Turn left onto the 2nd block, Atlantic Avenue, and we are halfway down the block on the right. Don’t cross Sunrise Highway!
